1. Who we are
PostPilot (“we”, “us”, “our”) is an AI social media scheduling service. This policy explains what data we collect, why, and who we share it with.
2. Data we collect
- Account data: your email address and profile details you provide when signing up.
- Social account data: when you connect a Facebook Page, we store the access tokens and page identifiers needed to publish on your behalf. We do not store your Facebook password.
- Content you create: your caption drafts, scheduled posts, and publishing history.
- Usage data: basic technical information such as log data and device information needed to operate and secure the Service.
We never see or store your card details. Payments are processed by Paddle, our merchant of record, under Paddle’s privacy policy.
3. How we use your data
- To operate your account and provide the scheduling Service.
- To publish the posts you schedule to your connected accounts.
- To generate AI caption drafts you request.
- To manage your subscription plan and usage limits.
- To contact you about your account, billing, or support requests.
4. Who we share data with
- Meta (Facebook): to publish posts to the Pages you connect, under Meta’s platform policies.
- Anthropic: caption text you ask us to improve is sent to our AI provider to generate drafts.
- Paddle: your email and plan details, to process payments and manage subscriptions.
- Supabase: our database and hosting provider, where your account and content data is stored.
We do not sell your personal data and we do not share it for advertising.
5. Data retention and security
We keep your data while your account is active. If you disconnect a social account, we delete its access tokens. If you delete your account, we delete your personal data within 30 days, except where we must keep limited records for legal or tax reasons. Data is transmitted over encrypted connections and access is restricted to what is needed to run the Service.
6. Your rights
You can view and edit your content at any time in the dashboard. To request a copy of your data, correct it, or delete your account and data, email faizan.itpro@gmail.com.
7. Changes to this policy
If we change this policy materially, we will update the date above and, where appropriate, notify you by email.
